Ontra Appoints Chi Hoang as VP of Engineering; Wins American Legal Technology and Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Awards

Ontra, the global leader in Contract Automation and Intelligence, announced it has appointed Chi Hoang as the company’s VP of Engineering. In his new role, Hoang will be tasked with leading and growing the engineering team to execute against Ontra’s aggressive product roadmap following a $200M Series B funding round led by Blackstone Growth in October.
Hoang brings over 20 years of successful software development and leadership experience to Ontra. Prior to joining, Hoang spent over five years at Zuora, most recently serving as the company’s VP of Engineering. Previously, he served in software development and engineering leadership roles at Groupon, Cisco, Netflix and Oracle.
Ontra is also announcing it has recently won two awards for the company’s best-in-class Contract Automation and Intelligence technology:
- The American Legal Technology Award: Ontra took home the win in the “Enterprise” category, awarded because it successfully demonstrates a unique and positive impact on its users by freeing businesses from manual contract processing and management. The company was also recognized for its “Dollar a Document” program, which donates one dollar to support non-profit legal aid organizations for every document processed on the Ontra platform.
- Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500: Ontra was recognized by Deloitte for being one of North America’s top 500 fastest growing software/SaaS companies in the technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech sectors.
