I am the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at GreyLion Partners, which is a lower middle market private equity firm.
Everybody's talking about AI and how AI is going to affect everything that we do. And so really, our preparation is just being as smart as possible, and understanding all the various technologies. How they can help us, maybe not, you know, falling for traps and tricks of technologies that are gonna be moot or not usable in the future, and just making sure that we're being smart about where we spend our time and where we spend our money.
Time is our most valuable commodity and everything is getting more and more complex. And I think we're looking for ways to make things more efficient and to really just utilize our time most efficiently.
And I think Ontra, certainly for me, personally has taken a lot of the work that I wouldn't view as high value off my plate, and I can focus on the more important things, managing risk for our firm and things like that, that really need my time and attention, and I don't have to focus on some of the other tasks that would take up a lot of that headspace, otherwise.
