About the Role
Ontra is seeking a Managing Director, New Sales (EMEA & APAC) reporting to our Senior Managing Director, New Sales.
We’re looking for someone excited to spearhead team leadership in new business sales, drive strategic prospecting initiatives, and penetrate high-potential markets to exponentially grow our global customer base.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Development: Hire, manage, and coach a diverse team of new business sellers, leading meetings to align and motivate while providing personalized feedback and support in sales strategy.

Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales metrics and pipeline health to track performance, providing detailed reports and insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

Strategic Sales Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies, adapt tactics based on market intelligence, and create effective account and territory plans.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Participate in high-stakes conversations, nurture relationships with key clients, and provide strategic negotiation support to secure and expand major deals.

Talent Acquisition & Compliance: Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring adherence to CRM processes and maintaining data integrity for optimized sales operations.
What You’ll Bring

Experience: 8+ years of experience leading enterprise sales teams.

Industry Knowledge: Proven experience working with legal or financial services user personas.

Leadership: Track record of coaching sales representatives to successfully prospect and close new enterprise accounts.

Sales Acumen: Deep familiarity with complex sales processes and best practices, including multi-threading, multi-product bundling, and strategic value positioning.
Pay Transparency
Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission, variable compensation, profits interest units, or other equity-based compensation, which are not included in the below base pay range.
