He offers knowledge of both industry-specific and agnostic AI solutions tailored to the needs of private capital firms. Matt brings over 10 years of experience in private capital markets. He spent 5 years as an internal consultant at a large institutional asset manager, focusing on strategy and transformation. In his career, he has delivered numerous strategic initiatives and digital transformation, as well as hands-on experience implementing AI tooling for private markets firms.
Matt started his career in Private Equity at KPMG for 5 years, leading audit and assurance engagements for multiple private equity clients, specializing in valuations and modeling. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Birmingham and is an ICAS Chartered Accountant. Matt lives in London.
Yoni Levy is an asset management partner resident in Ropes & Gray’s Boston office. He regularly advises private equity and other private fund clients on a variety of matters. Yoni has experience advising fund sponsors with respect to the formation, offering and operation of private investment funds, and also regularly represents institutional investors (including endowments, pension funds, funds of funds, private foundations and family offices) in investing in private investment funds. Yoni has experience working with growth and buyout funds, credit funds, energy funds, funds of funds, co-investment funds, venture capital funds and secondary funds, and his clients range from emerging managers developing their organizations and raising their initial investment funds to global asset managers operating worldwide in multiple asset classes.
A significant part of Yoni’s practice is focused on asset management-related transactions, including co-investments, structured secondary transactions, recapitalization transactions, management transitions, sponsor restructurings and “spinoffs” of investment teams from a larger organization, among others. Yoni’s asset management and transactional skills combine in these transactions to facilitate creative problem-solving, assist clients in actualizing theoretical constructs, and provide flexible analysis of the governance and economic considerations in a proposed transaction. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a JD from Harvard Law School.
Sara is Ontra’s Vice President of Product Operations. She ensures that all of Ontra’s product offerings deliver exceptional value through their unique combination of top legal talent and technology. Prior to Ontra, Sara managed attorney recruiting and professional development at Paul Hastings. Sara holds an M.A. in Organizational Communication & Development from Emerson College and a B.A. from California State University, Fullerton. Based in San Francisco, Sara enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and taking her dogs to the beach.
