Jeremy Leggate is Co-Head of European Investment Funds at Paul, Weiss. Jeremy’s practice focuses on advising private fund sponsors on all aspects of the formation and operation of private investment funds across various strategies and asset classes, including private equity, growth, credit, hybrid and infrastructure funds, as well as advising sponsors in connection with continuation vehicles and other GP-led secondary transactions, investment management M&A and other strategic or upper-tier transactions. He regularly counsels sponsors on tools and best practices for implementing AI & technology into their businesses, as well as leading the technology efforts for Paul, Weiss’s global Investment Funds Group to better serve our clients throughout their fundraising process.

Brendan is a partner at K&L Gates. He advises on mergers, acquisitions, and financings, including private equity and venture capital. Brendan also provides guidance on securities and corporate laws (including director and officer duties), executive compensation, and general corporate contracts. His clients range from startups to Fortune 100 companies across industries like technology, manufacturing, specialty chemicals, transportation, logistics, consumer goods, creative services, and footwear and apparel.

Brendan is a partner in the firm’s AI Solutions Group and a member of the firm's IDEA Group, promoting innovation. He previously served on the firm’s Management Committee for seven years.

Emma Vertigen is the Senior Managing Director of Partnerships at Ontra, the leading AI-powered legal technology platform for private markets. Based in London, Emma leads the global partnerships team and drives Ontra’s ecosystem strategy by building relationships with other technology providers, law firms, fund administrators, consultancy firms, and other key strategic advisors to private equity firms. Before joining Ontra, Emma was the Director of Customer Success at Litera, where she led a global team dedicated to enhancing relationships with leading law firms. Prior to that, she practised law at Bird & Bird. Emma holds an LLM in International Trade and Commercial Law from Durham University

Kyndra Adair is a Senior Vice President and Funds Counsel at General Atlantic. Before joining General Atlantic in 2021, Kyndra was a Vice President, Legal & Compliance at BlackRock, Inc. where she advised on a broad range of global private funds, including private credit funds, hedge funds, funds-of-funds, and other opportunistic private funds. Prior to that, she was an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, in the Private Funds group. Kyndra started her legal career as a Business Law Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, where she focused on private equity M&A and growth equity transactions and structuring.
